Babita mentioned earlier on Twitter that she's back on duty tonight after being away for a while. So, I can only presume so.

Lenodal.com's blog now has an entry up for the second round. They'll be adding caps and videos to this page as the evening progresses:

CNN International setting up to cover it nicely too. Becky Anderson anchoring from London, with Nina dos Santos also in London.

Hala Gorani and Jim Bittermann in Paris, and Mathew Chance in Athens.

It's good to see all the outlets covering this major political story in the apparent depth they are.

Tim Willcox now in N8 giving deadlines presumably for UK viewers (he gave UK time and UK headlines) during a short break from coverage from Paris.

Where is Babita or whatever is happening on BBC World News?

Was the break there just to allow BBC World to cut to commericals and therefore it was logical to provide UK headlines for the BBC News Channel.

Presumably Tim is babysitting the studio incase the link goes down.

On World, we are taking the Sopel programme. At the short break just now, we had ads. No Tim, nor any headlines. At the end of this special broadcast, we will be getting Kasia Madera in N8. Don't know where Babita is. Maybe at a French venue in London?

Dare I say it, Mr. Sopel is rather good at this. Holding court over his guests at this wonderful venue.

BBC Parliament taking France 2 I think and just missing the announcement of the exit polls for a Democracy Live advert. Rolling Eyes

It's a complete clean feed, no DOG but also (it seems) no graphics/captions. Surely there are captions on France 2 itself?

John Simpson in Tulle at the moment for BBC News. Hollande's stronghold. It's as if the BBC were banking completely on previous polls to assume Hollande would win and so locate him there.

BBC Parliament carrying a clean feed from France 2, with just a LIVE bug in the corner.

Hollande wins.

John Simpson is in his seat of Tulle.

These in transit interviews on France 2 are brilliant, pointless but brilliant.

James Robbins is also in Tulle with John Simpson.

Chris Morris is somewhere in Paris, but hasn't appeared yet. I wonder who else we'll get to see in the days of probable coverage across the BBC.

The Lenodal blog is now running the Canal+ countdown which is quite smart - with the last ten seconds taken up by satellite shots of France zooming into view in square blocks

Have been trying to watch France 24 online and failing miserably
