Looks alright to me

Cannot believe they will be putting this out on what is supposed to be a rolling news channel. I hope this 'chewing the fat' with people plucked off the street is going to be a smaller part of the programme than that promo makes out.

Why is the show's logo the Mozilla Thunderbird icon, with a back to front tick stuffed over it ?

Reserving judgement until I see it but it does seem very daytime magazine more suited to just BBC One/Two rather than BBC News - but we'll have to wait and see.

The logo would be better just without the paint swirl.

It would be nice if someone could tell them it's supposed to be spelt BBC Two, not 'BBC 2'. (Another pet hate of mine)

BBC 2 is good enough for the nearest there is to the BBC's Parish Magazine the RT, so it's good enough for me. Wink

You ask 100 people to write or type BBC Two, and 90+ of them will write it as BBC 2.

In any case all the on screen branding features a bloody great '2', so that's not going to help with the 'message'. Laughing

The graphics don't get any better than that, sadly.

Stock paint swirl and a 'sure deodorant' tick. Poorly designed titles and graphics, incredibly dated.

However I think you might like the theme music, it's the best bit.

Though The Radio Times is nothing to do with the BBC any more... Was sold off ages ago.

The channel is "BBC TWO" (BBC Two also acceptable) when referred to in text, but the channel logo is a numeral 2. If you aren't using the logo, you use the word. (TV channel numbers are written as words, radio channel numbers as numerals. FiveLive was the odd-one-out for a while)

That dosent sound great dosent it, I think BBC news should do just rolling news, this should only be on BBC two, like Newsnight.

It's meant to represent the swirling toilet bowl of public opinion.
ASO, London Lite and BBCWalesToday gave kudos
