Am I the only one who finds the ABC set a bit of an eyesore? It seems a bit of an ill design as with this AR stuff they've had to push the desks right up to the screens, meaning it lacks depth and all the close-ups show the backdrop heavily pixilated. Just all seems a bit busy and garish.

If anyone wants to take a trip down memory lane in the meantime, it’s been ten years since this:

Well it kinda depends on the race you are interested in following. I would suggest you look for a local affiliate in the region you are interested in following. Avoid any SINCLAIR station like the plague. I would suggest sticking to the big city affiliates in that particular state. For example the governors races in GEORGIA and FLORIDA will be 2 big races. So Im gonna dip into WSB 2 ATLANTA for coverage. Also FLORIDA you have a number of cities that will provide quite good coverage. The stations in Orlando like WFTV, or WSVN Miami, or WTVT Tampa would be ones to watch.

Many stations are running special extended coverage.
WLS Chicago - is using its relationship with independent station WCIU to run live local coverage whilst its main channel WLS is taking ABC NEWS National coverage.

Florida I think will be covered anecdotally as it is Justin's home town. I think I may have limited scope in feeds, so it will probably need to be one of the main networks.

For a combination of good analysis and slick presentation, it's always NBC or ABC for me. ABC looks set to have more pundits in the studio, but I love how NBC uses Rockefeller Plaza to add to the sense of occasion.

ABC Set - it’s clearly lovely from a presentation geek POV. But could help find it a bit too much on the eye when I saw it. The presenters and panels all seem very distant in some camera angles and all shot from overhead, which gives it an odd feel

Yes. This. There was something about it I just didn't like and that's a great description. The second level seems fairly redundant and only serves to dwarf the people even more. It also feels quite dark.

Here's an interview with the designer from NewscastStudio, if anyone's interested:

Interesting update from FTVLIVE about the FNC-Hannity/Trump debacle from yesterday.

Shame on Fox News and Sean Hannity

Yesterday, FTVLive told you that the Trump campaign sent out releases saying that Fox News host Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh were going to join President Trump at a campaign rally in Cape Girardeau.

After we posted the story, Fox News emailed FTVLIve and asked us to update the story with a tweet from Hannity that was posted after our story.

As a favor to Fox News, we posted Hannity’s tweet in which he said this:
Screen+Shot+2018-11-05+at+11.54.24+AM.png

We knew that despite what Hannity said in the tweet, we were sure he would go up on stage. In fact we offered $100 bets to 15 people. We said that if Hannity did not appear on stage they win $100, if he does, we win $100. Two people out of the 15 took us up on the best and it was an easy $200 bucks for us.

We have never met Sean Hannity and yet we absolutely were 100% sure that he would take the stage in Cape Girardeau. His ego is way too big for him to stay away from a screaming right wing crowd.

The question is, if we, who have never met Sean Hannity KNEW he would go on stage at the campaign rally, how the hell did the bosses at Fox News not know?

Not only did Hannity go on stage but he called the Journalists sitting in the back “Fake News.” Some of those Journalists were from Fox News.

Today Fox News released this statement, “FOX News does not condone any talent participating in campaign events. We have an extraordinary team of journalists helming our coverage tonight and we are extremely proud of their work. This was an unfortunate distraction and has been addressed.”

Unless they suspended Hannity for a month or fired him, then this is just a statement to try and save face and the fact that Sean Hannity runs Fox News and can do whatever the hell he wants.

People inside Fox News have contacted FTVLive and said that they are livid and have never been more embarrassed to work for the network. I can’t say that I blame them.

As for Hannity, he released a statement as well, but let’s just say the guy lies and anything he says can not be taken as the truth or be trusted. So, we will not include his statement here. We also believe it to be a total lie.

We updated the story yesterday as a favor to Fox News, even though we knew it was 100% **** and we were right. W

We will not used again to put out false information.

Fox News should be ashamed that they are letting Hannity drag down the entire network, just to appease Donald Trump.

I have friends at Fox News and I have never felt more sorry for them.

I'm surprised Fox have not reined in Sean Hannity and at least demanded an explanation of his relationship with Trump. It's obvious from when Sean Hannity was named in court as a client of Michael Cohen that something is up between the three of them.

I'm more surprised that Fox allows Shepard Smith to continue delivering his common sense take on the political news. It flies against the overwhelming rhetorical republican agenda the rest of the channel's output vomits out onto the public.

The title sequence for the Midterms programme on BBC News now is gorgeous, and fits well with the music. Shame they have to stick that awful hexagonal logo they're using on the end though.

The whole end slide of the BBC titles is hideous. Also wins the award for the world’s smallest BBC News logo.

Sky’s rather simple titles are much nicer and it’s always nice to hear their decision time music again.

It looked a little tacky and cheap to me. Not just the logo popping on screen, but the clockworks and cheap looking CGI capitol hill building
