Any direct links to MSNBC this time? The link from last time isn't working this time.

Seemingly not. Last time they had it on mms://msnbc.wm.llnwd.net/msnbc_6_live_8828

Not so this time and all the links I can find on the website point to a video within a flash player which doesn't perform nearly so well.

Am I the only one to find it strange that although the BBC has Huw Edwards and Jon Sopel in the U.S Richard Lister is doing the TOTH and acting as the presenter/interviewer on the scene. I would have thought that was what Huw and Jon were there for, unless they are both being saved for later. Incidentally the BBC have had good coverage so far, with plenty of correspondents covering the story from around the US.

Unfortunately, it looks like MSNBC are using a different stream this time, which only works via the Flash player. That way they get an ad at the start, at least.

As for the BBC, I'm fairly sure they're just saving their main presenters for later, when the results actually get into full swing.

And the value in anchors such as Huw is preserved if they are used sparingly. Dimbleby is great for elections and royal funerals because he doesn't voice soap adverts and quiz shows. To have Huw on the top of every hour yammering away would reduces him to the level of Willcox or Amroliwala.

Sadly, at this precise moment (and for months previously), TVU is only any good if you like the idea of watching Fox News. Which, quite frankly, I don't!

Huw is leading the Ten with the camera they use for a backdrop on the NY-Lon World Business Report. Earlier both Badawi's WNT and N24 Tonight had the exact live link to Jon Sopel in New York, BBC Four/World had a version with no info straps but did but up name astons (probably added in Worlds gallery)

CNBC now would appear to be broadcasting 'Your Money, Your Vote' from midnight til 2am. And that's due to be followed by 'Super Tuesday Results Coverage' from 2-5.

AlJazeera's coverage just started. David Foster is in Washington, Veronica Pedrosa is in Los Angeles, shes usually in Kuala Lumpur. They have other Washington presenters such as Ghida Fakhry and Kimberly Halkett in other states. Darren Jordan is anchoring in Doha, with guests and latest results from the newswall. Looks good viewing!
