Rowridge and Hannington have a large overlap,.
My aunt had a Sony portable TV with a set top aerial that would auto tune to half Midhurt and half Hannington channels skipping the poor Rowridge reception. Signal was just about good enough for teletext too so you wouldn't know anything was wrong until the opt. Not what you would expect in Portsmouth which is firmly in Rowridge service area.

There's the area behind the dockyard where a few homes use Midhurst because ghosting impairs Rowridge reception. According to Ofgums there's even a self help relay there, though I've never spotted it.

There are quite a lot of homes in Portsmouth on Midhurst, mostly in the Milton & Copnor areas, but have seen aerials pointing towards Midhurst even in parts of Southsea, Fratton & Hilsea as well... Once you get over the top of Portsdown Hill, past Cosham, & into Widley a lot of houses here are also on Midhurst, with some even on Hannington...

Most homes in Ryde on the Isle of Wight are on Midhurst too as are the majority of homes in Leigh Park just outside of Portsmouth...

Going west of Portsmouth & a lot of places on the outskirts of Southampton & Winchester point their aerials at Hannington, even in places like Eastleigh, Bishops Waltham & Romsey...

Here in Weymouth you see the odd aerial pointing at Rowridge almost anywhere around town, but mostly around near where I live (on higher ground on the approach to Portland) & on the eastern side of Portland too & the signal can be picked up as far west as parts of Abbotsbury...
