Sky showing pictures from NTV, tagging them as Live from Istanbul when NTV's own graphics clearly say the pictures are from Izmir or Ankara. The pictures from Izmir were earlier described by Anna Jones as being from Taksim Square! We also had different shots from the bridges being replayed on screen but Anna and her guests were talking about something else.
I understand it's probably a very busy time and small mistakes will be made but Sky's coverage was great earlier and now there are times where clearly the producer and/or Anna aren't watching the pictures going out on air.
TRT channels seem to have gone off the air on 7E and perhaps 42E. Definitely had them before on 7E all showing statement in a loop, no just no signal and same on 42E.
Was impressed with Sky News and AJE. Decided to check out some of the usually good, rational CNN International coverage.
For some reason, CNNI has switched to CNN Domestic. Guess Who's on? Yup, and he's already predicting ISIS is going to take hold and expand throughout Turkey.....
Back to Sky News it is.
Does anyone know why CNN US uses a red logo on a white background and CNNI is the opposite (apart from easily identifying each feed)?
I know it's not relative to the subject but we do talk pres on here
Also, does anyone know what deal Sky have with not showing the adverts that are scheduled for Sky News? Do they rebate the advertisers?
Finally, I do notice at the TOTH during breaking news stories they seem to have little blips with either their HD dog flicking off and on again and vision very quickly fading out and back in again.... New automation software?
