None of the main French channels are showing the inauguration. i>Télé have found a few Euros behind the sofa to send reporters over to DC, BFMTV are presenting coverage from the studio in Paris, LCI are in DC and Franceinfo (the PSB news channel) are using feeds with commentary from Paris. (France 2 have reporters in DC, so suspect they're utilising them too)
Germany are showing coverage on ARD and tagesschau24.
I have to wonder with a lot of these graphics, do they create them many months before an election? in which case they might not have bothered with Trump versions. That being said they normally prepare for all outcomes.
None of the streams seem to be in full HD, do America still 720p HD as standard?
Fox & ABC (and their related channels) are the only major 720p channels.
C-Span coverage on BBC Parliament. Refreshingly little if any in the way of added commentary and simple graphics too. About as close to a raw feed as I've seen.
Just been scrolling through Facebook and noticed that sky have 9,400 people watching their live stream, which I thought was impressive... then scrolled a little more and the BBC stream has 156,000 watching!
ITV's coverage is woeful. Went to a commercial break just as proceedings got underway, and then all they're doing is talking to people on the street and analysts in the studio. No coverage of the opening addresses...
I'm waiting for the regional news to start;
'tonight on Look East, with President Trump now officially in office we speak to a woman from Saffron Walden who once visited Trump tower to ask how she feels knowing she has such a link to the world's most powerful man...'

Your lucky, on STV... local business man become president OR or local feud with new president over golf course...
