What, a news organisation calling out government officials for lying by providing them with the proof?

I believe it used to be called "journalism"

CNNi have started the week with double headed coverage out of Atlanta covering the growing crisis in the Middle East.

Quite a vast team of correspondents now deployed to the region.

Full marks to CNN for their coverage so far. I’ve only caught brief snippets but from what I’ve seen they have correspondents in Iran and Iraq. CBS also have someone in Baghdad but that seems to be it for the US networks.

It only underlines just how sad it is that they have all of these great reporters available to them, yet spend 99% of their time on Domestic with talking heads in Washington

I noticed yesterday that NBC News had their Tehran bureau chief back out in the region - He'd been doing down the lines from NBC London just 24 hours previous.
