Tower-less Ticker on News 24

Whats the little orange box above it?

There is no little orange box above it. The Tower is 3D. Therefore the ticker mast below it is also 3D. What you are seeing is the 'inside' of the ticker mast 'box', and that "little orange box" you can see is its back wall.

Shouldn't the back wall be red like the front wall, not orange!

Erm, the front wall looks orange to me... largely because it is.

Yap, it's definitely orange.

No, it was red earlier - it does that when the news on the ticker is breaking news. My capture's not the best quality but it was definitely red at the time.
