Babita seems to know Birmingham well, though she did say reports of a railway station alight in Handsworth - think she means the police station which has a confirmed fire.
She says "You're watching BBC News" too much.
She say that for drop outs for Ads that run on BBC World.
I'm not sure Singapore is quite as basic as you might think.
I believe they can broadcast Asia Business Report off their own back, and before the Newsday strand used to do this in BBC World's Asia advertising region around this time anyway.
And it seems as if they've done that, with Babita doing a strange link introducing ABR but then carrying on with riot news. Bit confusing for regular viewers I should think.
Sangat TV are now speaking with the police and trying to get through the road block in Birmingham. They have also been speaking with someone from Channel 4.

Would have been much better if she'd just done another "You're watching BBC News" - sting & split - "Ok, we're staying live to bring you more coverage of the riots in London".
Bonded 3G SIMs probably, there are units that will do that.
The picture is perfect though. Very good quality and no picture or sound break-up while I have been watching and the camera is not on a tripod, it is been thrown about all over the place so any compression would have to be working very hard.
Stupid question then, If there is such a device that allows them to broadcast from anywhere with a 3G signal, why don't the BBC or Sky use such a device rather than satellite trucks? Any pictures I have seen on mainstream channels that have been 'via broadband' have been noticeably poorer picture quality. I wonder how much it is costing them to broadcast this.
