Can't believe the BBC News Channel hasn't continued broadcasting on its own while Sky News still has a live link to the streets of London.


At the moment, Newsday has basically continued the live coverage, with a promise to talk about the business news later in the programme.

What does World do at the BOTH? Is it a Singapore based live WBR? If so, can the NC carry on live from London while that goes out on World, or are we going to get British Olympic Dreams / Hardtalk / Click?

Just to correct myself. They seem to be in a car. How are they getting the pictures back to wherever they are coming from?

Babita seems to know Birmingham well, though she did say reports of a railway station alight in Handsworth - think she means the police station which has a confirmed fire.

She says "You're watching BBC News" too much.

In fact it's very repetitive with all these junctions because of similcasting.

I assume Asia Business Report is going out in Asia only, but Babita didn't handle the link very well.

I think World has just gone to Asia Business Report . . . the News Channel is staying with Babita.
