Lots of lovely OBs for the result of who has won the Tory leadership contest at 3pm. Where is the result actually being announced? Strap says Central London but no details about the venue...

I thought Carol Thatcher was already announced as winner last night...................?

Hope BBC World covers it, otherwise I will have to make do with Robin Oakley!

I'm sure if that was the case, the Tories might stand a chance of winning the next election.

BBC One currently simulcasting with News 24.

Sky didn't say anything - Beeb put up Cameron by 2:1 "according to Nick Robinson" during Howard's speech.

I noticed Sky News were writing the results out live, vidiprinter style and momentarily was only going to give Cameron 13,000 votes before quickly using the backspace key Laughing

Interesting... so that makes ITV NC first with the result, BBC second, Sky third.

Nice how ITV News have put the results in percentages, just so it's the little bit eaiser for all their lovely viewers.

Think it was a bit sacrafice by Sky to have Adam infront of camera rather than behind. With competition between news channels being tough, both the BBC and ITV beat Sky by a good couple of minutes.

What's the victory song he's got playing in the background too?
