Oh Jesus. Was the C4 debate asking about this question to Boris tonight?

Will this stuff be asked at the BBC debate on Tuesday night or have they already covered it?

Didn't realise Sky were having a debate at all.

I presume no one at the BBC could find C4 HD on the ingest Sky box, and that’s why all their clips of last night’s debate are in soggy SD ?

They do the same thing when they take content from Sky News too.

I guess that's from a technical reason, rather than a petty one of making your rivals look low quality?

It used to amuse me back in the 90s when BBC and ITV regions would show football highlights footage from each other, how bad they could make the pictures look

I expect it will be the first thing Laura K mentions tomorrow night!! Nothing like a bit of unsubstantiated tittle tattle to start the show.

It used to be because they were taking it from a Sky receiver and they only had analogue outputs. Even with HDMI it's a bit tricky due to the copy protection

It seems that the BBC 'Debate' is to feature inserts from local studios. BBC Plymouth is to be used as one, confirmed here ....

Yes, from what I've heard of the format for the programme I think it'll be very popular on here Cool

No, it was sourced from the SD version, it had the 'SD' C4 DOG, not the C4HD one
