Guess so. I suppose I thought the BBC of all people might have known the timings of these events well in advance.

It was clear he would become Tory leader yesterday. However The tory party did not confirm if he would take over that day or the following day. It appears Johnson and his team have allowed May a last PMQs as he is making a statement in the commons on Thursday which is a relatively unusual event!

The summer recess came in the way too - this is the last week parliament will sit until early September, so they decided May should have the last PMQs on the last PMQs before the summer recess.

Boris first PMQs will be on Wednesday 4th September.

Through tomorrow he is expected to give a statement in the commons which could be a de facto PMQ if it's a general statement rather than one on a specific topic such as Brexit.

Andrew Marr is a rather surprising choice of presenter for the BBC News special on BBC One tonight, must be a long while since he fronted any live political coverage, outside of his own programme.

Presumably Andrew Neil isn’t, or hasn’t made himself, available.

Wonder if they'll wrap up on BBC One earlier than planned as they still have an hour of coverage scheduled - nothing due to happen until reshuffle at 1900 onwards

Sounds like ITV News are finishing 30 minutes earlier than scheduled at 16:30.

EDIT: ITV are now showing Tipping Point: Best Ever Finals as a filler.

ITV are beginning to wrap up half an hour early.

Not sure what they will get to fill for 30 minutes before The Chase.

EDIT: It’s a highlights show of Tipping Point
