im starting to give up hope now, it seems like im waiting for something huge to happen, yet it could be something so small, a bit like every Saturday waiting for the lottery numbers.

I'll eat my hat if it is, but I really doubt this is anything. It is the norm for newsreaders to wear black anyway, and if news had got round to all the channels, what are they waiting for? To wait for one channel to break it first?! Oh, and Nina Hossain was wearing a purple top earlier, and most of the male newsreaders are wearing coloured ties. Not very sombre, really.

I'll risk it all now by saying that this is almost certainly nothing.
