Damn, caught red handed after I promised myself I wouldn't ever return! It's the rumour mongering, I just can't resist!

Well if this turns out to be nothing, I think it'll go down as the most hyped up thread on here ever. Fantastic - great to see this sort of rumour mongering once in a while on here!

The big question is: did the people who started the threads on this on Digital Spy do so of their own accord or spurred on by the thread here?

They've been spurred on by this thread. The first post there was at 8:45pm approx.

It's also standard procedure for a news presenter to think "oooh I'll wear black today"

there has been a death.

I did not know about this before the thread was created but contacted someone about the matter after a few suggestions on here could mean my source is informed on it.

I wont post again now with this name and will leave it for the newscasters to sadly prove me right.

You asked everyone to go away and get a life, and to stop clogging up the forum.

Seeing as though you have the most to say on this thread, kindly do us a favour and take your own advice. Many thanks.

In other words, get lost.

ACTUALLY - Charlie Wells, (MODERATOR - ie not you) says that this thread ISN'T clogging up the forum so I will continue to post here all night if needs be.

Many Thanks Wink

Look if you don't want to be here then go. We're not holding you to ransom. Now some members, with good reason beleive somethings going on, which in turn has created alot of views so I suggest, if your not interested in whats happening you come back tomorrow, when its not so busy.

In the mean time are the three major's still on black? (N24,ITN,Sky)

...as none of the known insiders are posting anything, which is highly unusual.

That could just be because the rate this thread is growing is quite amusing? (if there is nothing going on anyway).

When Princess Diana died, how long did it take BBC World to first report the story?

I've edited the post. I meant when the car crashed (if I remember correctly she didn't die straight away).

Oh, I beleive that was relativly quickly done, remember there was half the worlds media chasing her at the time. The announcement of her death followed a few hours later on Breakfast Telly.

The announcment of death was made by Nik Gowing. BBC World was broadcasting on BBC1 that night as it was before News24 started.

Well that would have been on ITV - he worked for ITN until 2002. I don't know what ITV did that night.

Well I'm intrigued if nothing else.....funny I was talking about the Queen and Margaret Thatcher dying today in work......got Five Live on t radio and both BBC and Sky news websites in additional browsers. The last news embargo we had was Tony's ticker, and that was also 10pm.

9 minutes to go?
