Is there an announcement on the way tonight? (October 2005)

Well if this turns out to be nothing, I think it'll go down as the most hyped up thread on here ever. Fantastic - great to see this sort of rumour mongering once in a while on here!

Still, I've not seen any of the bulletins myself but from going through the thread just now, it does seem highly coincidental.

As to comments about next bulletins being talked about as scheduled and Charles & Camilla discussions, it may well be the case that the editor's simply said "business as usual"? As has been said - a blackout is just that and nothing should be any different until an appropriate time (other than the clothes, I guess!)

Do you think they'll break the announcement at 10?

Has anyone London based seen a large amount of media activity around Buckingham Palace or Westminster?

You asked everyone to go away and get a life, and to stop clogging up the forum.

Seeing as though you have the most to say on this thread, kindly do us a favour and take your own advice. Many thanks.

In other words, get lost.

ACTUALLY - Charlie Wells, (MODERATOR - ie not you) says that this thread ISN'T clogging up the forum so I will continue to post here all night if needs be.

Many Thanks Wink

The big question is: did the people who started the threads on this on Digital Spy do so of their own accord or spurred on by the thread here?

Wow, I read this thread shortly after it was created - I just logged in now to find it has grown to 14 pages! That has to be the biggest increase in the shortest space of time in the history of TV Forum!

This is all very intriguing. I missed both the Six O'Clock News and the Evening News tonight, so I'm yet to see a presenter in black. Mike Embley is on BBC World tonight with a grey suit and his usual colourful tie. I wonder whether there really is something going on, or whether it is one massive coincidence? I'm beginning to believe the former, as none of the known insiders are posting anything, which is highly unusual.

The latter, I'm sure. In any case the **** quotient is always far higher over on DS.
