Good news another boring reporter matched to an equally boring subject.

As for 'scabson ' this is good news , I dont watch the itv bulletins so she'll be easy to miss and I can listen to LBC again without hearing her domestic drivel and 'bum' stories.

So not a bad result.

Not sure she's giving up the LBC gig.

Really ? I'll have to read on here to see how she gets on. When do these people take up their new roles then?

What has happened to Caroline Kerr? Have not seen her for a bit.

Plus I hope Nina is not knocked off the Evening News, for Mary Nightingale, she has not been on since November, she doesnt deseverve to come back, she should be put elsewhere, and leave Nina in her top spot, plus she has settled in now, and the Evening News has also settled in, and is ITV's best news bulleting of the day.

Maternity leave I think, as is Nina Nanaar. Lauren Taylor is currently the correspondent for any Business news. I hope Caroline and Nina are back soon.

Did she? I suppose she has been away for a long time. Well over a year now.

Very odd and very poor choice in Tom Bradby. The Government will run rings around him at the media briefings. I feel sorry for Jon Ray who has proved himself as a political journalist and should have been promoted.
The way that Mr Bradby seems to lead a charmed life at ITN begs the question as to who is looking after him. He really isn't very good. I wonder if his parents are good friends of David Mannion????

As part of the reshuffle John Ray, whose role will be taken by Sampson, will temporarily step into Bradby's shoes as UK editor before heading for one of ITN's overseas bureaux next year.

Today's Telegraph diary column announces that Daisy Sampson is getting married on 6 August and will be adopting her husband's name personally and professionally - so she'll appear on ITV News as Daisy McAndrew.

Wasn't Tom injured quite badly reporting for ITN a while back - a serious leg injury? AIUI that is why he concentrated on domestic rather than global reporting.
