A very good choice in Tom Bradby I think. I'd guess he's probably the youngest political editor they've had, plus on TV in general? It seems to be a move to make politics more appealing and interesting, which explains the appointment of Daisy Sampson as well I suppose. Let's just hope it doesn't become as cringeworthy as the BBC's attempts with the Daily Politics and This Week.

Really? I always got the impression he was younger than that. Oh well, there goes my theory

Bradby is a very poor reporter and correspondent IMO. However, nothing that ITN does these days really surprises me any more. They are extremely shoddy and lack credibility.

In your opinion maybe. To be honest, shoddy is one word I'd use to describe BBC News, but then again that's my opinion.

A good choice I think, and not at all surprising. Some of his reports over the last few days suggest he will slot in very well to his new job. Perhaps closer in style to Micahel Brunson than John Sergeant or Nick Robinson - it will be interesting to see. Would expect him to be there longer than his two predecessors. Wonder if he's going to write any more books.

Not sure why people are wondering whether John Ray is Senior Politiical Correspondent, or suggesting he should be. As one contributor has said, he already is, but presumably is getting a new job - replacing Bradby maybe.
