Wow they should have just contact NBC Today and asked for their graphic files and just swapped out the logo. Very similar. They even use the "Breaking Overnight" moniker. Interesting that USA tv still has a some influence on Australian telly in some aspects.

I find it fascinating that the royal family gets so much coverage in Australia. I don't think I've seen Prince George's 6th birthday get a mention anywhere here.

It's not that simple as sending graphics styles over. Remember, NBC and Seven, outside of sharing resources in terms of newsgathering, are still separate entities from each other.
