Sky may get paid something, but those who feature in such material do get paid.
I know a certain ITV regional news presenter who gets a fee every time one of her bloopers gets broadcast. We're not talking a fortune, but still, not short of £100 a time.
I always thought it was £150, as the late great Richard Whiteley must have raked it in with the Ferret clip.
