Thought it might be a good idea to start a fresh topic as this is a big event. Here's what's happening at this moment...

BBC
Louise Minchin live in Westminster, Dan Walker in the studio.

ITV
Piers Morgan, Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway in the studio, Charlotte Hawkins outside Buckingham Palace and Nick Dixon at Westminster.

Sky
Colin Brazier at Westminster, Isabel Webster in Maidenhead.

As with Gordon Brown's departure, there's a jib camera in Downing Street providing (presumably) pool shots - just seen as Cameron's car departed for the Commons.

I see ITV are doing a 'News Special' at 11:55 for PMQs, not something I've ever seen on the channel before.

BBC have shifted DP to BBC One, and the NC seems to be running its own 'filler chat' at the moment, including cutting away from Andrew Plant in Brussels to discuss Larry the cat doing an inspection of the paparazzi on parade in Downing Street.

There's also a Channel 4 News special from 12-1.10, also to cover David Cameron's final PMQs.

BBC1 has a news special all afternoon, starting straight after the regional lunchtime news at 1.45. It doesn't look like any of the other main channels have any special coverage scheduled at the same time.

I remember when Brown took over, Fox News showed his speech. Wonder if they will do the same this time.

It looks like BBC are providing the pool feed from the helicopter - according to the Flightradar app, G-TAKE is in the air over Westminster, but no sign of G-SKYN.

No changes so far on Radio 4, but Theresa May had better make sure she's done and dusted by 7pm: when David Cameron took office, they were rolling with live news from 1700 - 1945, but took a break for The Archers: apparently because The Queen never misses an episode.

The clarity of the image, and the fast movement, had me thinking it was a drone: but I guess they're not allowed in the area as it's in the Heathrow flight path (as well as security issues).

BBC News saying Cameron due to arrive at Buckingham Palace at 17:00, Theresa May due in Downing Street by 18:00. If all goes to plan, the Queen should still get to listen to The Archers!
