Sarah Keith-Lucas doing the BBC One weather, and Phil Avery was on the NC just before 12pm. Are they a bit short, I've not seen Sarah at all on-screen since she went on maternity leave over a year ago!

I wondered if we will see a bit more of Sarah now since Liam Dutton has left.

There was quite a lot of her on screen last time I saw her. Smile

I kept thinking, 'Surely this must be the last time?', but she popped up again & again!

Mind you though, considering what the reaction was when Helen Willetts was last pregnant, I'm surprised Sarah never got the same sort of reaction?

Not yet - he starts today, but the forecasts start next month:

By the way, did anyone catch who did the South Today weather on Saturday? I believe it may have been a new face.

It hadn't occurred to me that the Met Office were taking part in today's strike action - but it means BBC London's Wendy Hurrell is on Breakfast today. (Carol's off this week - it's been Laura Tobin on Monday and Tuesday)
Elizabeth Austen appears to be doing the regional forecasts from TVC.

Midlands Today's Ben Rich is now covering the forecasts on the News Channel and World.

The supply forecaster covering the BBC News channel today is quite refreshing.

It is nice to see some different, capable faces doing the weather.
