Maybe a bit late on the post here, but feel free to discuss and post caps of tv coverage of the walkabout. So far this morning Fern Britton was at Windsor Castle for This Morning, Sophie Raworth is with Fearne Cotton, Rolf Harris, someone from Eastenders and Laurence Llywen-Bowen (or however you spell it) and for ITV News Nicholas Owen is with Romily Weeks and Keir Simmons. Haven't seen any other coverage yet.

ITV News have got a ticker for the special programme, just shows how ITVNC could have looked!

Ridiculous DOG on ITV News!

Though I think the coverage fitted comfortably in This Morning (better than in the news arguably!) - it didn't really seem right that the Queen's birthday walkabout was sponsored by Dolmio!

That's the same ticker they show on The Pulse (without the Pulse logo obviously).

I noticed that the copyright for BBC was under 'BBC Events' rather than BBC News. How long has 'BBC Events' been used as it's the first time I've particularly noticed it.

BBC Events produced Prince Charles and Camillas wedding last year, don't know much about them though. I thought the coverage on This Morning was quite good however the dog on ITV News was very annoying

Was there a pool of cameras all the broadcasters could choose from? All channels, including CNN I noticed were showing the same ones and on many occasions, the same sequence of shots. Was there also a default feed broadcasters could dip in and out of?

I would presume yes, because EuroNews were showing a different sequence at times as part of No Comment - and if anyone uses pool shots, it's EuroNews.

The BBC coverage was good... but why did we have to have Fearne Cotton and Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen in it?

I was a bit surprised that Natasha was at Windsor for the Six tonight as there's nothing happening there now. The Queen is inside the Castle ready to go to Kew Palace where Nicholas Witchell is currently, surely it would have made more sense to send her there or to have remained in the studio.

I was quite suprised Natasha wasn't presented the show this morning, thankfully she didn't and as already said why just why was Fearne Cotton there?
