I was unsure of where to put this - I had a go at reading the news and weather at The Mailbox in Birmingham. There are also windows into the editing suite and a good exhibition. I'd reccomend a trip to it! Theres also a shop and views into some of the radio studios. Is there something like this at other BBC regional bases?

IIRC you can type in a code and watch the punters read the weather at the BBC wesite.

What was your code B B Crocks?

Very random...but if you ever visit the Mailbox, stay in the Malmaison hotel. It's pricey but well worth it. And watch out for the cute receptionsit. If you're on here (not sure of name, but cute with short brown/red hair) pm me. He is sooo helpful, as are all the staff!

not sure views into an editing suite would be particularly enthralling - perhaps you mean the views into midlands today gallery and archers studio

It's worth visiting the Mailbox if only to buy an official Midlands Today mug.

No self-respecting TV Forumer should be without one.

I lost my code!!!! I had about 5 goes though (how sad!), andI got a BBC mug, but not a Midlands Today one.
