And now TF1
edit: Oh god, it cut to a BBC studio where three people we sat, watching the coverage and discussing it. This is rubbish!

That's actually their normal news studio. The desk isn't normally that big, though - the two bits where the guests are sitting are normally pushed back against the wall.
I have to say that - despite the odd technical glitch - I'm very impressed with the quality of BBC Parliament's pictures from TF1 and France 2. Crystal clear on my telly - so they obviously didn't do a cheapo linkup.

It is horrific, isn't it? God knows who thought that up.
Wouldn't be so bad if the moving images behind the guests weren't so jerky and the cameras weren't rocking about all over the place at the same time. Think the overall studio is actually pretty nice, though all French studios appear to be much of a muchness.

Yes - I don't think much of TF1's, er, creative camera angles. They like to cut away from a guest mid-sentence to show a wide shot with four tiny people and an enormous, jerky live picture in the background. Very distracting.
I'm much more impressed by France 2's studio. France 3's is a tad bland, but the biggest of the lot, with lots of people 'working' in the background. And LCI have done a reasonably good job with their usual studio, which is quite flexible.
