Don't know what your problem is. They're far better than glasses. You don't look as much as a geek and you can see more clearly - oh, and you chop onions and swim in chlorinated water to your heart's content without ill effects!
Last time I went swimming in my contact lenses I got a serious eye infection.

Just because someone's done something once, and something happened, doesn't mean that it happens all the time. I've been swimming in mine, which are monthly, hundreds of times and they've been fine.
Yes, I got conjunctivitis once, which was probably caused by me not cleaning the lenses properly, but it got better. I've eaten food before now and got food poisoning - hasn't stopped me eating food.
Anyway, what's this got to do with the Ten!!!!!?

If the All new brand new News Hour is being so heavily publicised, why the need for Mary Rhodes to appear in the first half hour doing a sports section? Surely Huw should have read the results, with the tagline 'get more on these stories later on News 24'.

Because the BBC is a public service broadcaster. Not every viewer has access to News 24, so the BBC provide a summary of the sports results to keep every viewer happy.

thats no the issue i have with this. Why the need for a SEPARATE human being to tell us the results? It makes it seem like a sports bulletin, which presentation wise doesnt make sense to me. That's all.

Not sure. I was watching N24 and noticed that the countdown crashed into Huw slightly (though he didn't even say 'ow'). Presume they let the weather run over a little and had a longer countdown.
Tut towards "Just the two of us"! Vernon & Tess can't be trusted to hold a network together!

BBC 1 could have axed the trailors between programmes so that the ten would have run ontime, so we should actually tut at the BBC.
