Has anyone else noticed that on UTV Live bulletins that come from the continuity studio that VT bars can be seen at the top of the screen:

This only happens when using the UTV Live backdrop, the sports backdrops appear without any problems.
Also, I noticed a report by Julie O'Connor (who I've recently realised went to my old school!) on last Thursday's edition which went out in different transmission aspects on different bulletins:

It seems that the broadcasting ratio was changed as Julie's report featured material shot in Derry on 4:3 later ARCed to 14:9 analogue and 16:9 on digital, although anytime I have seen a mix of cropped 4:3 and widescreen-friendly material on UTV, letterboxing is never used on the new/16:9 material - very odd.
