If you mean opt-outs from the main bulletins at 6 then no. ITV Yorkshire does it splitting North/East and South too. And, up until Mike Nevilles health problems, ITV Tyne Tees used to do this too. Not too sure about any other ITV regions though. STV are soon to start this optout service too.
Interesting. When did they disband with the opt-outs at Westcountry? must be relatively recent? It was the only thing that used to set-it apart from Spotlight

Is David (Braine) off on one of his sailing holidays? We've had Alex Barr and lately Chris Stumbles (who usually does the forecasts on Radio Devon/Cornwall) doing the weather on Spotlight... Is this Chris's first time doing television forecasts as I've not seen him doing them before...

Completely different subject, but does anyone know what happened to Katie Haswell who presented with Al Jazeera International's David Foster on the very first editions of Westcountry Live?
She was absolutley awful, David Foster could never hide his annoyance and anger at her stupid half-wit comments.
I'm pretty sure I've seen her on a cereal bar advert recently, but can't remember exactly which product to look it up.

Katy presented ITN World News and also presented a couple of times on the ITV News Channel.

I don't THINK he's that far away, as we've had Alex, Chris and the odd London forecaster down the line, but always with David popping up for an odd day, every three or four days.
I SUSPECT he's on the dreaded Met Office "special projects".

Anyway Katy Haswell , she kept turning up on my tv in different places last
year and also previous to that.
As mentioned some appearances on the ex ITVNC . As well I 've seen her her on the Travel Channel in an edition of Globetrekker and on ITV's car show Pulling Power .
She was a regular on CNN but that was over five years ago.
So whats she been up to recently as it's all gone very quiet.

The best show Katy Haswell ever did was CNNI's theartclub. Excellent viewing if you were interested in art, but didn't fancy going to a gallery.
