Surely a move to the centre of Plymouth would be rather expensive. They would be better getting something similar to ITV Westcountry on one of the industrial/science parks on the outskirts of the city.

I'm sure they will make quite a tidy sum on the sale of that enormous Victorian property in Mannamead.

Was in 14P9 when I watched it.

Did you not notice the narrow bars down the sides?

No it isn't. It's the same for everybody everywhere.

And that's an extremely stupid comment from an extremely stupid person.

So what if I said I'd watched it in tx in Plymouth?

i didnt say that comment to be rude nor to start an argument. i was pointing you to the fact that inside out is regional, that you profile says you live in the west and therefore you would have been watching a different programme. it was a very pertinent comment

The fact that I live in the area covered by BBC and ITV West doesn't mean that my parents don't allow me to travel outside that area.

Both my parents are very long dead, so I allow myself the odd treat of travelling a few miles away from home.

Last Friday's Inside Out, as transmitted from Plymouth was made in 4:3 and ARC'd into 14P9 for transmission.

FACT.

Now, it must be past your bedtime, child, so please go away.

You are incredibly pertinacious, why are you being so rude. Why is the great agglomeration of members on this forum so argumentative?

Seeing as you insist on asking, the answer is probably because you're such a silly little boy.

Woo, you own a thesaurus.

It's probably more like a Tyrannosaurus Rex, made out of felt with dangly shiny bits added for effect.

Returning to the original response I think some of our more junior members need to realise that some of us actually have a clue about what they are posting.

I was tempted to use "not as stupid as they are" but that is unfair on those with five minutes' experience.

I remember being told that the London transmitter was Alexandra Palace not Crystal Palace. Clearly the idiot concerned hadn't got past chapter one of "TV History for Dummies". Maybe once he gets to chapter 86 he might have something worthwhile to say.

Yes it is ageism, based entirely on bitter experience Wink

(85 and would be proud of it if he could remember how)
