Today I've noticed the camera movements seem more obvious and twitchy than I've noticed before.

I'm I imagining it, or is it a change of tech, or due to the human operator?

It looks like This Week has bitten the dust.

Terrible news. It's the one remaining accessible BBC political show left after the lunchtime show became a shoutfest.

I guess if true it will be confirmed in tonight's show.

If so, it is terrible news. It's the only light hearted Politics show out there. It's built up quite a legacy over 15 years and is the one show that doesn't take itself too seriously at all. So for the series to just be dumped within a few months is terrible.

If Andrew doesn't want to do it anymore then it should at least be fronted and tried out with a new host.

That Chris Mason Tweet was Rt'd by This Week itself. Confirmed therefore.

Andrew Neil has remained silent on Twitter about this, I would have expected him to confirm or deny it on Twitter, he uses it a lot.

This Week is (was) the best political review programme the BBC ever had, and now Andrew Neil has decided to step down, they decided to axe the programme. A new host could easily take over. No one is irreplaceable. They made sure Diane Abbott was replaced easily to sit alongside Portillo.

So July or December 2019? Will it end at the summer recess of parliament in July or will it end at Christmas time, to end 2019?
