She's staying on apparently with Martin Stanford.
Julie and Martin make a better team. What are they going to do tomorrow when this story dies down

Just looked that up after you mentioned it. Obviously they're not mentioning that the women were prostitutes. I suppose you can't hide the news from children.
Also noted that on the newsround homepage they have the story about the Diana memorial concert tickets going so quick. Underneath it is a link to "Who was Princess Diana?"
Now that makes me feel old.
But then I suppose if you're under about 13-14, you probably don't remember her death (or obviously her life).

I see Newsround (online at least) have finally decided to start running this story (presumably when it became obvious that children were going to be aware of it anyway).

Well tomorrow there will be a tussel between the top headlines, with the events in Suffolk and the Princess Diana report, which is made public tomorrow. Sky have been running trailers today promoting it.

Sky News have produced some sort of bizarre sting/wipe for their lives. It's a white flash then the words "SUFFOLK KILLER" swoop over the screen.
It's absolutely fantastic comedy, it really is. It looks terrifying!
Their website has really gone all out on it though. Their 'Google Map/Video' service is really quite excellent, and original thinking on their part. I guess that's something we'll be seeing a lot more of when the site is overhauled:

The Diana report is going to be a whitewash anyway. It was a tragic accident and all that.
I have to say, sky seem to be pulling out all the stops here, with the interactive map, and Martin Stanfords back to basic paper newswall with a map graphic using google maps.
LOL at the sting.. with the red text getting closer and closer and then fading out... maybe some fx would make it more dramatic, but more american too
