For a paper that employs the likes of Gaunt & Clarkson as columnists, are you really surprised!
And don't start the Scousers on Kelvin Mckenzie, if you've been reading recent reports.

I never know what to make of Mr McKenzie, IMO he's either a right igronant **** or just very right. For instance he was a guest on Mrs O's ITV programme a couple of months back and gave Kerry Katona a damn good talking to about her book and thought exactly what I do about the woman (which I won't discuss here as we'd probably be sued) although the audience and Mrs O didn't agree with him.
But on the same level, I don't know what to make of his comments on the Hillsborough disaster or Northerners in general.

Oh shut up - it is pertinent to the earlier discussions in the thread about how sensible or otherwise the media coverage of the arrested persons was in advance of charges being brought or people being bailed/released.

... and this is wher everything on it is just brushed under the carpet. He's on bail though, so it'll be interesting to see what the outcome of that is and then what legal action he'll take for those that that published his details.
