Anglia News has also started using MS Virtual Earth, I don't know if it's just Anglia, the regions or the whole of ITV though.

Can't believe that Sky are still doing blanket rolling coverage from Ipswich when there's nothing happening! It'll be even worse in a hour when it goes dark.

And the fact that someone's been arrested is still 'Breaking News'... it happened 10 hours ago!

Certainly a lot to bat about pertaining such elements of News in today's technological environment.

Insofar as to the Suffolk Murders, naturally horrific in its stance, as well as providing a platform for residents to be better informed. Then looking at the lifestyle of our working culture, those whom are not able to view or listen for whatever reason, surely the speedy conclusion must be attributed as a credit to the value of broadcasting news and the services within. But news happens 24/7.

Errr.... anyone?

I think he's trying to say that the while the Suffolk murders were horrific, the success of the police investigation must be attrributed to the value of broadcast news and viewers' tipoffs - however news happens 24/7, and that Sky should move on.

Or it could more likely be a load of tripe.

Not sure if its to do with the Suffolk murders, but Anglia Tonight opened differently tonight. Video of the top story, and Tim reading a bit out followed by "This is Anglia Tonight"...then titles.

If you get what i mean.

Is naming a suspect when the police haven't officially named them a regular thing to do in the media these days?

I think it's disgusting! Has anyone seen the front page of the Sun today? Sick and typical of Britain's vile tabloid press.

I'm sure this is the type of thing they do in the US. Name everyone and everything to do with a story.

I mean, these two people could be totally innocent, but will forever be linked with this case now. Just terrible.
