BBC News journalist Sue Lloyd-Roberts has died:

BBC journalist Sue Lloyd-Roberts, who was suffering from leukaemia, has died, her husband has said.

Ms Lloyd-Roberts, who had acute myeloid leukaemia, received a stem cell transplant over the summer.

A correspondent for BBC News, she had run a public appeal to find a donor and had been keeping a video diary of her struggle for the BBC

Sad news. I actually recall Sue more from ITN and News at Ten back in the day, as opposed to BBC News. I always found her to be quite a unique correspondent with a unique style.

Seconded. She was a stalwart of ITN in the 70s and 80s, the era when they trounced the Beeb.
