The current look ( STV ) is still pretty strong, and has been going 5 years strong. The current look allows the channel to update its look without much major changes.
For all we know the building work could be apart to take place?
The signage has been down since at least January, possibly December. I tweeted STV about this in February and they said they were still at PQ, but making some changes. I hope a full refresh is afoot. The idents are very dated and old fashioned looking now.
True, I haven't seen the Dance ident in at least 2 years. Coupled with the fact that's it's the same background music on all of their HD idents, they don't seem to have cared much for this package.

Four are still being used, I have seen Home, Social, Building, Landscape.
Pretty much confirmed in this Herald article today.

Off the back of that we have made a significant multi-million pounds investment in broadcasting technology, cameras and some new look sets in all our main locations.
A company called Dixon Baxi have tweeted that they've spent 7.5 days with STV at 52 locations, filming 64 scenarios. As they're a creative agency, looks like they've just finished filming new idents
They've got an impressive portfolio. They created Channel 5's last brand, which was one of their best. They also created the Discovery Channel's idents. Hopefully STV's will be just as good, or better.
