I'll have you know I was a North Tonight viewer for well over a decade, and yes it's a very strong programme and deserves all the credit it gets, but why can't you just accept what STV has done. Think of it this way, what would you rather have, STV News where it comes from Aberdeen, or a pan regional ITV News Scotland?

Who says it would be pan regional ITV news Scotland? It is slowly going in that direction now. I am passionate about the North and get sickened by the lack of thought stv have about us up here. We are second class viewers here...it is obvious!

Nothing has been announced yet. I suppose we will find out this weekend if the pan regional weekend bulletin comes from either the Central or North newsroom. That's always a key indicator...

The Morning Bulletins will have a new look from Monday, surely? Possibly carrying the new STV news look, if there is one.

Yeah, but i'm talking graphics wise, as the Daybreak Scotland bulletins currently carry the DB branding..

Doubt it, it might have the STV logo which it currently has already during the local Daybreak bulletins.

Presumably East would get it, but remember North was the last to get the current look. But if a revamp is coming surely they would do all 3 now...

I suppose we could find out on Friday. John could say something like 'We're back with a new look on Monday, don't miss it' or something along those lines.
The set is definately needing some work done. The titles are just too American. The music is ok but could be doing with another remix.
