STV appoints Laura Miller as Edinburgh news anchor
STV has appointed Laura Miller as anchor for the STV News at Six in Edinburgh and the East.
Laura started her broadcast career with STV in 2007 and has covered major news stories, including the preparations for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow later this year.
Laura will join sports presenter Paul Barnes who was appointed to the STV team in the East in September 2013.
Gordon Macmillan, head of news at STV, said: “Laura has become an established and experienced STV broadcaster over the past few years and will now deliver our news service for viewers in Edinburgh and the East. STV is committed to delivering a local news service for Scotland, on air and online, and Laura is a strong addition to the team delivering the capital’s news.”
Laura Miller said: “"I am delighted to be taking on this role. This is a huge year for Scotland and being part of the team delivering the news from our country's capital will be an enormous privilege."

I think it'll be to coincide with HD going live on the 28th. It doesn't take that long for STV to do a refit of the studio...
Depends if they catch B&Q before it closes....and true...white emulsion does not take long to dry.
