Dear Mr McEwan
Thank you for your email.
We can confirm we will launch STV HD on satellite on Monday 28th April 2014.
The new service will be available for Sky HD subscribers in Glasgow and the West on channel 103, and Sky channel 178 in other areas. Freesat viewers will be able to access STV HD on channel 119.
There will be only one HD feed.
Thank you again for taking the time to get in touch
I think he's meaning that STV North viewers won't have their own separate feed. But its the exact same on Virgin Media, channel 113 is STV West HD for the whole of Scotland and no one has seemed to moan about it...

Oh I am sure you would feel exactly the same if all we got was a North HD programme for the whole of Scotland.
Any one see the farse of an opt out on Daybreak the other morning. Presenter fluffed her script and stopped (black screens for a while) then startred the read again from the top......they obviously forgot to edit it???

Actually no, I'd make do with what I had on 103. You should be grateful they are putting a HD feed on Sky...
