Has it been confirmed that STV Local has been abandoned yet? The micro sites to close, and an increasing possibility that the bulletin may return to pan central belt (hence the sacked Ms Dunlop not being replaced and Mr Chree filling in). A 5 minute opt for Edinburgh news perhaps?
May all be codswallop, but my source is fairly reliable.
Perhaps this is a move in advance of ETV and GTV launching on channel 6 (both STV services). Makes no sense to be uber local on both frequencies.
