With this news coming out, I smell a refresh looming...

Surely they can't keep pumping out new things without updating it. As its been 3 years now with the current look give or take...

It's 2 years next month since the current look was launched in the Central regions, just over a year in the North.

Was it only 2011? For some reason I thought it was 2010. I stand corrected. Smile

Good news about the eight bulletin (although Grampian did these in the 90's). You are right about a refresh but North got the current set much later than the rest of Scotland. It is also a pity that when "reinforcing STV’s commitment to delivering quality, regional news" they have yet again failed to their promise to have a Highland opt during the six!!

Where did they promise this? It was only ever talked about. And correct me if I'm wrong, the last time I watched the North Six, the Aberdeen opt had stories from the highlands....

Gary - check back on STV's promise of performance from about 3 or maybe 4 years.....it is clearly stated that the Inverness opt is planned. You are right about Highland stories being covered in the six's North opt.....but (you being from the Central belt are maybe not aware) how can a news story in Shetland, Thurso or Inverness have any LOCAL interest to me in Aberdeen.....have you ever looked at the map of Scotland?? It goes beond Stirling you know??
