Think it will be from this coming Monday, two weeks off during the Glasgow Fair usually.


It's Laura M who's coming up this evening on the STV News at Six. Who is she? Is she as legendary as MacKay?


Laura Miller, she's usually found doing the late bulletin these days during Scotland Tonight or the lunchtime bulletin.

And doing a great job!

Laura IMO is a rising star at STV and will prob end up like Orla Chennaoui, Nick Dixon, Nicol Nicolson and Mark White and head to London for likes of Sky, CNN or ITV.

Not just STV. That's why a lot of the very insulting personal comments make some of us cringe.

I've said it dozens of times only to be met with incredulity or scorn. Very frustating.

I do believe there don't mind Construction comment, but what it pure and utter as gav insulting it really is just cringing.

At least when I made the comment I have explained what I was saying, Rona it just like Stephen, there not good with fix news, there just feel uncomfortable, but given them a proper tv show and well its total different kettle of fish.......

weird choice for sport! I know Keith is on holiday but you would have thought they would have used Joanne Bonner instead of Gordon.

I've not seen Joanne Bonner on screen for a while now....


Joanne's always done a lot behind the camera and dissapears on a regular basis. Much better fit for sport than Gordon.

Monday to Thursday was great with Laura and team then it all fell apart on Friday as per!

Although picked up again at weekend as good to see Vicky Lee on our screens not sure last time I saw her.
