Would have liked Mike Edwards do a cover shift sometime, he seems rather good when I've seen him do lunchtime bulletins.

I think he's rather good, actually. Good connectivity with the audience. It's not easy to compare someone who reports mainly but presents occasionally,alongside someone who has been in the studio with an auto cue for years and years.

I remember John Humphrys was a lousy news presenter when he first started, appearing to prefer being out in the field. He went on to become the face of The Nine and The Six for almost 20 years!

Gordon tweeted that Rona will present today and tomorrow, with Gordon presenting Wednesday-Friday. Rona is on Scotland Tonight all week as well.

Another cringe worthy West News at 6 tonight!

Doesn't make sense, far better presenters available and loosing Louise White for the likes of Rona is a bad move.

I thought things where getting better with the use of Rachel covering John, now we bearly see her! Now Gordon, he makes Jackie Bird look good!

If you don't like Jackie Bird, Pete, surely you couldn't of liked Louise White, she was almost a clone!!

I don't mind Bird and Louise White was competent enough
