She appears in vision during some BBC Breakfast Scotland opts, inviting phone calls to her radio show.

You could stay up late (your end of the globe) and give her a call.

Or if you're springing for a couple of flights, I'll nip round there and strongly encourage her.


Couple of flights????? I'll need to sell a kidney to be able to afford that! Especially with the onboard wine that one of you will consume!! (Do you think she'll accept easyJet?)

According to DigiGuide (other TV guides are available), Laura Goodwin will present the STV News at Six (East) all next week.

She is first choice in aberdeen after Norman & Andrea! Although after the refreshing week we have had in the west with Rachel this week would only be fair to the east viewers if they got her for a week!

Although I really can't help but think that Louise White has gone for good! Gerry McCulloch has left STV altogether too!

Spotted an oddity during the rerun of the STV News at 0430 this morning - at the end the copyright notice said (C) 2010!!!

That would have been during The Nightshift. They don't seem to want to change that.

UTV have done something similar for a while have they not? I'm guessing that's the inspiration?
