Yeah, think STV are showing late game again tomorrow so would be same again.
I would imagine being broadcasted on STV Glasgow it would be mostly news stories relating to the west, or you would like to think so.
But I agree it would make perfect sense to stick it on STV+1 once the World Cup Programming has ended and then Join Normal +1 service once it has finished.
Although no John or Rhona I am led to believe, may watch it tomorrow to see if it's the "Normal" Scotland Tonight we are used to seeing
Intresting situation developing this evening. Football on STV, which obviously meant Scotland Tonight was not on, although was on STV Glasgow with a new presenter. Don't think a lot of STV viewers are happy about it either and it's to be a regular occurance if ITV/STV show the late game in the world cup.
The edition of Scotland Tonight that aired on STV Glasgow tonight (well, last night now) was a repeat from last year, with the head-to-head debate between Nicola Sturgeon and Michael Moore. Who is this "new" presenter you speak of? Also, Scotland Tonight doesn't air on Fridays.
EDIT: Why is the five minute bulletin at twenty to eight billed as "STV Local News & Weather"? I'm guessing it'll be hosted by the STV GLasgow News presenter and will be pan-regional.
Not too sure what else STV has won in this system (or if they have bid for more)? I am not even sure they will work out in the long run?? However having STV, a trusted brand in Scotland, may mean stability and success for these local stations?
Does STV Edinburgh have their own Lunchime bulletin, or is it pan regional from Glasgow? and if they do, who presents it? as i believe there is only one presenter at Edinburgh?
