One thing I thought was interesting from the clips put up of the three versions is how the intro to the top story about the referendum poll was pretty much the same word for word. Obviously the poll was commissioned to coincide with the relaunch but is this often the case for the STV regions?

Whenever STV do something like this it's usually John and Andrea so I'm guessing them two.
I dunno, It's usually John and Andrea at Holyrood when it's something like the Scottish Election when STV opts out of Network and gives a full hour of STV News instead of ITV News at 6.30.
It might be just John tonight, then heading back to each region for the news there, then back to John to close it. Can almost put money on it that it will be a special programme with John and Andrea in 100 days time though...
North just opted out and went back during a report...Bit of a mess at their end actually.
It wasn't clean in the East either. John paused for a couple of seconds after speaking to Bernard Ponsonby (presumably the point where the East was to opt out) then started reading 'other news' before the sudden cut back to the Edinburgh studio.
