Oh dear Sad In STV North the music in the north tonight and across Scotland segments also seemed odd - the start of each section was drowned out by the music. I could hardly hear Norman on both occasions.

It does seem there's quite a lot of bias here, which has probably come about because people in this thread regularly watch and enjoy STV News, whereas other threads here are frequented far more by people who don't usually watch the programme involved.


Nonsense. I, personally, said that the old set was like something from IKEA. Just because I live in the STV area does not mean I can't be impartial.

Probably why the light beam motif isn't burned onto that image.

Just to add, don't see how people can say it's better then ITV News sets? I like Itv's and Granada's better myself.

Looking over the 3 regions, I wonder why North are the only ones to use what appears to be revamped title music...
