Kirstin Gove mada a bit of a faux pas on Monday night's STV ( north ) News at the end. She said something along the lines of " That's all from this Monday bank holiday shortened edition of North Tonight ... "

Nice to see STV showing an extra short bulletin between This Morning and Loose Women about the flooding. Was presented by Laura Goodwin from the Aberdeen studio. Was this just shown on STV North or on STV Central too?

Mike Edwards presenting on the late shift on STV Central tonight. Was this his presenting debut?

No, Mike's done the bulletins several times before. He did the GMTV bulletins occasionally while they were still done by STV.

Why has John MacKay been doing 5 a week for the last while? What happened to Louise on fridays?

John first started presenting Fridays from 15 May. He mentioned on the STV forums that he had a change in working hours, and I think it a case of STV wanting the main anchor of the programme appearing every weeknight.
Louise still regularly presents the West opt on Fridays, and fills in for John on the main programme when he is unavailable.

I noticed on the STV News (North) bulletin at 17.00, that they couldn't they couldn't get the final scores onto the graphics in time. Chris Harvey mentioned that there had been late goals and read different scores from what was on screen.

Also, after the SPL and Division One scores had been read, he said all other matches were postponed and so they didn't give the score of Queen's Park v Montrose match in Division Three which was played.

I notice as well that this afternoon's STV south bulletin was also done by Chris Harvey from Aberdeen.

There is talk on the STV forums that its going to be pan regional over the christmas time
