Good to see that this 5.30 programme will have a decent format. It is also reassuring that stv north personalities will be involved in fronting the programme!
Going by the blog it dos not show any Grampian staff or mention them at all Just what I thought to be honest!!!
are you just looking at the Real mckay blog??
you need to look at Northern Exposure .....
The one with flashbacks:
Ask kirstin ( 7 she done)
Gordan Macmillan is the head of stv News (Both ST and NT).
Yes strange how the head of news north and scotland is now the one that was based in Glasgow as is the MD??
Do we know what has happened to Craig Wilson and old Derek Thompson??
I think you have Jumped the gun!
there is now a single director of programmes (Derrick Thomson - former managing director of Grampian TV) He still there..................................
Any idea who the presenter of the late bulletin is tonight? Haven't seen her before.
Incidentally, yet another example of why STV is better than the Beeb tonight - a report on increase in crime brung together with the family of a murder victim to bring the human angle, versus some tedious politicians only on BBC Scotland.

Claire Stevens. She's been with stv since April/May this year. She used to present the ST bulletins in GMTV. She was the west presenter on the main 6pm news tonight and last night.

Hi Garry,
Is she the presenter who feature on "TRM Blog" some months back as the "New Presenter". If it's who I am thinking of, she has a lovely East Kilbride accent. Marvellous.
Hate to say it, but the BBC won hands down tonight.
Three men feared dead after a tug goes down in Clydebank. BBC cover it on the national news and Reporting Scotland has a live from the scene. STV has a 10 second audio clip from the coastguard.
I fear what may have happened is that, as STV are on a lower budget, their camera crew was over in Livingston covering Leon's gig in a shopping centre. Also I don't know if they can do 'lives' at this time of night, and it is a developing story.
Either way it really didn't look very clever.
