Agree completely about Louise. She is very cold. I think Heather is ok, but is ok good enough for a regional news programme? I guess that's what I meant in my inital post when I said they were missing the ladies who left. They all had that little something on screen, and the banter was ace!

yes, the banter was "ace" when there were two presenting - not exactly much scope for banter now is there? Apart from about ten seconds around the weather. That's why I was saying it might all work better if they went back to two presenters - get a bit more banter going again!

Debi certainly seems to be on a lot more at the moment, although young I think she's doing well.

Yes, Debi is good filling in for Raman. She has done it a few times now. She is no Jane Lewis, but she is hell of a lot better than Raman and Stevie.

Garry: Completely agree
Dan: Know how you feel. It would be great to see her back on STV, and I still think she would have done a much better job on Scotsport than ForthOne's Grant "Hibee" Stott and Andy Walker.

GMTV have axed STV as their supplier of early morning regional news bulletins in Scotland. Belfast based Macmillan Media, who already provide GMTV with Northern Ireland news bulletins, is the new supplier from later this year. Surely this will also mean the 5.25 a.m. edition of North/Scotland Today will disappear, for obvious reasons.

If this has happened, the 5:25am edition will remain as broadcasts hand over from STV to GMTV at 6am, not 5.

I think he means it's possible they might drop the pre-GMTV bulletin as it'll save staff coming in just for the sake of a short bulletin.

I do indeed mean that Ant. More on this story in The Scotsman.

That's quite silly. STV do a good job with the bulletins in the morning. GMTV are just too cheap for them!
Is it just Scotland Today, or North Today as well?
